We can see that in the Polypropylene chain, the lack of monomers has pushed pricing up to and beyond the levels of 2008.  In all other cases however, we are not there yet.

As we follow the chain in PP it would indicate that even after a $0.15 cpp increase in April, the month of May could see pricing move up again into the $0.07-$0.10 cpp range.

Polyethylene and Polypropylene pricing is riding the support seen in olefins and feeds.  (read full article)
